Works as intended. Blocks sunlight and thus heat plus provides privacy for window AC kit. Installation was easy.
These were amazing for us! We priced several blackout curtains and for our two windows it was looking like a $5-800 investment! Insane. We finally found something similar to these that cost $250, but they didn’t work near as good as these cheap ones! They had plenty of sticky adhesive pieces, but we bought some extra velcro to really get it sealed around the window. They keep the light out so great, and my husband is sleeping much better! We have a curtain in front of them, so appearance wasn’t a big deal for us, however I don’t think they are very aesthetically pleasing if that’s what you’re going for. In our case, it was function over appearance and it suited our needs perfectly. I loved that they could be cut down to size and we had so much extra. I noticed a slight smell at first, kind of like a plastic pool toy, but that went away within a day or two!
Great quality product, easy to install, fit perfectly over window and easy to cut to size. Blacks out the room great. Plus the other side reflects the sun. Keeps room cool. Great for privacy.
This product has served a great purpose for our daughter’s nursery for a solid year or so before falling off. As you can see in the pictures, the adhesive is coming off and the covering is falling off by itself. I’m assuming this is because of the direct sun on it, but it is still disappointing and annoying to have to fix. I got rid of the extra adhesives so I need to find a new solution.
I do like that you can cut them to size. Even cutting to size, there are tiny slits of light that come in but it could also be user error. I ended up buying this for my other daughters room and planned on it for our sons, but his gets direct sun all day too so not sure the best solution for his room. They work wonderfully alongside blinds and blackout curtains, or even just the blanket curtains. If you are looking for maximum darkness, would recommend using all 3 together.
I’ve found having them up that I don’t open the blinds often because it’s one more layer to mess with, but given that it’s in our kids rooms, that’s okay.
I am extremely sensitive to light, and these Curtains have been a complete game-changer for my sleep quality.
What I love most is the material—it’s incredibly thin and lightweight, not toxic smell and just leave it open for a day its ready to use, making it so versatile . I had no issues installing it directly on the window frame, and it fits perfectly even behind my existing blinds without adding any bulk.
Since my windows are west-facing, the afternoon sun used to be unbearable, but this curtain blocks the heat remarkably well. The room stays much cooler now.
Installation was a breeze and took almost no time. It’s also very convenient for daily use; I can easily lift or tuck it away when I want some natural light. To top it off, the seller is very nice and responsive, answering all my questions almost instantly. Highly recommended for anyone needing a flexible and effective blackout solution!
